Mar 16 - Mar 21, 2026 | 3.0 CECs (30 hours) | English OVERVIEW The Functional Anatomy course is part of the Comprehensive program, and fully prepares students for that program. Additionally it can serve as a refresher or for anyone needing to fulfill the anatomy prerequisite for the Intensive program. This course uses lectures, demonstrations and group activities to teach basic anatomy fundamentals. There is a focus on anatomical terminology, which includes anatomical position, planes of motion, types of movement, names and locations of the majority of the bones in the body, locations and actions of joints, major muscle groups and the individual muscles’ origin insertion and action. Select exercises from the STOTT PILATES® repertoire are also broken down and analyzed in terms of the functional anatomy at play. Participants will deepen their understanding of the body and enhance their teaching with improved exercise selection and programming. The course presents how to teach the Essential and Intermediate STOTT PILATES Matwork repertoire safely and effectively to a range of clients in both private and group settings. It will introduce the STOTT PILATES Movement System™, which provides a framework to creating intelligent and mindful exercise and serves as the foundation for tailored exercise programming. The approach is based on the STOTT PILATES Principles which incorporate recognised movement patterns and qualities and integrate the fascial system. The course presents each exercise and modification in depth so appropriate programming, effective cueing and clear corrections can be made for each client. STOTT PILATES® Intensive Cadillac, Chair, & Barrels
Jun 13 – Jun 23, 2026 | 5.0 CECs (50 hours) | English OVERVIEW This course is intended for those already working in the fields of fitness or movement, as well as those who are unable to devote the time required in our Comprehensive Program due to work and/or scheduling issues. Conducted over 3 weeks or 4 weekends. Students registering for this course must have completed Intensive Mat Plus or Intensive Reformer. The Cadillac, Chair, & Barrels course has been structured into three separate modules; ICAD, ICHR and IBRL, to give you maximum flexibility. Completion of all three modules is required to be eligible for certification. ________________________________________________ 📌 Intensive Cadillac (ICAD) Building on your industry knowledge and the material learned in IMP or IR you learn to design and lead the Level 1 Essential and Intermediate STOTT PILATES Cadillac repertoire for personal or group training settings for a range of clients. 125 exercises on the Cadillac/Trapeze Table.
